Agios Gordios is a large bay placed north west from the town of Corfu.
The village is small and is developed between the beach and the mountain behind and is a great place for tourism. Here there are many building like big hotels, apartments, tourist rooms and shops. If you come here from the top, the road will permit you to have a real nice view of the entire bay.
Very nice is also the small isle Ortholiti near the beach. In Agios Gordios village you can also find something to enjoy your night in Corfu island. Here there are some places where to have dinner while watching the sunset. During the day you can then practice several activities on the beach
The beach of Agios Gordios is very long and runs along the entire gulf.
It has a marvellous sandy soft beach and offers many tourist activities.
Te beach is perfect if you don’t like a very deep sea and is surrounded by the beautiful Mediterranean nature. Ortholiti is a large rock in the middle of the sea in front of the southern part of the bay. The most amazing thing about Agios Gordios is the breathtaking view that you see when you first drive through the mountains and down to the centre of the village.
However, around the beach it can get quite busy and there are plenty of opportunities for amusement throughout Agios Gordiost. These include watersports, walking in the stunning hills and even sky diving. The finer things in life are all on offer here too - the local food and a cold glass of 'retzina' - white wine flavoured with pine resin - will delight your tastebuds.
